"I was recommended to Steve as a Personal Trainer and began training with him in February 2012.  I am a runner and originally requested his help with an upper body strength program for a period of 6 weeks only to get me on track. However, upon commencing a training program with Steve twice per week, he has worked with improving all core and upper body strength as well as working on areas to increase my efficiency as a runner. Steve's programs are always varied, interesting and fun and I’m constantly amazed at the different routines and exercises he brings to the session. It is evident he always plans in advance and tailors the regime specifically to my needs and level of ability. Subsequently, 5 years on, Steve’s twice weekly sessions remain essential to my fitness regime and I would not do without them.  I’ve always found Steve to be professional, punctual and happy to accommodate my sessions to suit my changing week. I’m loving working with Steve!

“Stephen has helped me to develop from a true "couch potato" into someone who now enjoys exercise and looks forward to my next Personal Training session. In our first session Stephen took the time to find out what injuries I had and was careful to always ensure that they were well warmed up, along with the rest of body to ensure I didn't get any injuries. I always felt that I had worked to my capacity during our sessions, but never felt that Stephen had asked too much of me at my current fitness level. “I have been training with Steve at Feel Happy Fitness for the last 12 months to improve my general fitness and to reach my own personal fitness goals. Having had little experience in any physical training or fitness activities I was originally hesitant to start in a group fitness session, but it didn't take long for my competitive side to come out and to fit in as part of the group. Regardless of fitness levels, or the goals and aims of the people within the group everyone is welcomed and met with the same level of enthusiasm and support. Every session is a bit different, which keeps training interesting and helps as a whole body work out.

I have learnt a great deal throughout my time with Feel Happy Fitness including the right way to warm up and cool down, having the correct form throughout a particular exercise and I have completely changed and improved my running style. But the biggest lesson I gained was finding the enjoyment in fitness and that is largely to do with the people I have been involved with at Bootcamp classes.
